I came across a short trailer about this months ago, and now it’s getting traction and attention.  It is something that has been brought to the light, exposing loneliness in Japan.  Here’s the thing, it’s in this country as well.  But I don’t think anyone cares enough because most people are too busy being “social” on social media instead of looking around them and interacting with each other.  We have found a new way to connect, and it’s not face to face.  Have the way we use the internet become more damaging or made things better? Information wise I think it’s great, but simple human interaction rarely happens outside of certain contexts anymore.
