SELF

Self - the union of elements (such as body, emotions, thoughts, and sensations) that constitute the individuality and identity of a person.

What are the 4 kinds of self?

These are the public self, the self-concept, the actual or behavioral self, and the ideal self. Finally, we discuss self-presentation in the context of how people control their own behavior, including analysis of how self-presentational processes can replace other causal processes.
Self – it is defined to as “a unified being, essentially connected to consciousness, awareness, and agency (or, at least, with the faculty of rational choice).
What are the elements of self definition?
Self-concept is an individual's knowledge of who he or she is. According to Carl Rogers, self-concept has three components: self-image, self-esteem, and the ideal self. Self-concept is active, dynamic, and malleable. It can be influenced by social situations and even one's own motivation for seeking self-knowledge.
What are the five domains of the self?
Educate the teens about the importance of all five domains: physical (body), intellectual (mind), emotional (psychological), social (relationships) and spiritual (different for each person). Explain that most people tend to do a reasonable job of taking care of themselves in a few areas while neglecting others.
What are the 4 perspectives of self?
We use these four perspectives – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual – to provide the foundation for a sense of wholeness, both as a concept and an experience.
